Judge to rule in medical malpractice case involving VA

Relatives of a Wilkes-Barre man who died shortly after his 2001 discharge from the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center recalled the effects of his sudden death Wednesday in a federal medical malpractice trial.
The survivors of Arthur Dumble, 68, filed the action against the federal government after he died of heart-related problems minutes after being released from the Plains Township facility on Feb. 5, 2001. The government is not contesting liability in the suit......
